Settings and billing
Where the workspace itself is configured: who you are to customers, which channels are connected, who on your team can do what, and what you pay.
Settings is organised by tab: Workspace (brand identity, alert contacts, security), Billing (plan, cycle, invoices) and one tab per connection — WhatsApp, Shopify, Gmail, WhatsApp shop, Meta Ads and Instagram. Brand identity feeds the store name and policy links customers see.
Workspace
| Section | What it controls |
|---|---|
| Brand identity | Store name, logo and policy links. These appear in message variables and in opt-in tool footers. |
| Alert contacts | Who gets notified about failures and quota warnings. Keep a real person here. |
| Account security | Password and session controls for your workspace login. |
| Delete workspace | Permanent. Export anything you need first. |
Connections
| Tab | Purpose | Guide |
|---|---|---|
| Your business number, token and webhook. | Connect WhatsApp | |
| Shopify | Store binding, permissions and reconnect. | Connect Shopify |
| Gmail | The mailbox email sends from. | |
| WhatsApp shop | The product catalogue shown inside WhatsApp. | Meta Manager |
| Meta Ads, Instagram | Additional Meta surfaces, where available on your workspace. | — |
Team access
Invite teammates so inbox replies are attributed to the person who sent them and routing can assign to named agents. Attribution matters more than it sounds — without it, team performance reporting cannot tell you anything.
Billing
Your plan, your billing cycle, your usage against this cycle’s caps, and your invoices. Plan prices and what each tier includes are on the pricing page.
Plan limits are listed on the pricing page; your own usage is in Settings → Billing.
- Billing cycle
- Monthly, quarterly or yearly. Longer cycles are discounted; caps reset per cycle either way.
- Usage alerts
- You are warned as you approach a cap and blocked at it. Alert contacts are who receives the warning.
- GST invoices
- Available on every plan, downloadable as PDF from this tab.
- Order metering
- Orders ingested count toward the cycle cap. Cancelling does not refund the count, and a COD order converted to prepaid counts once.
- Meta conversation fees
- Billed by Meta separately from your TopEdge plan — see conversation pricing.
- Plan limits and quotas — What happens at a cap.
- Conversation pricing — The two bills explained.
- Pricing — Current plan prices.
Frequently asked questions
Does cancelling an order give back my order allowance?
No. Orders are metered as they are ingested, and cancelling does not refund the count. A COD order that converts to prepaid is the exception worth knowing: TopEdge recognises the replacement, so one purchase is counted once rather than twice.
Can I get GST invoices for TopEdge?
Yes, on every plan. Invoices are downloadable as PDFs from the Billing tab in Settings. Plan prices are quoted exclusive of GST, which is added at the applicable rate.
